Volcano agate is a dramatic variety of agate known for its swirling patterns and UV reactivity, with some spots glowing bright green under UV light. It's formed over millions of years when silica-rich fluids slowly fill cavities in volcanic rock, creating those gorgeous layered and flowing patterns unique to each stone.

Measures 10" tall with stand. Moon plus stand is approx 6" at the widest point. The thickness of the moon carving is approx 0.7" and the base of the stand is approx 4" in diameter. Weight is 699 grams with stand.

UV reaction shown is with 395nm flashlight and is stronger under 365nm light.
