Volcano agate is a dramatic variety of agate known for its swirling patterns and UV reactivity, with some spots glowing bright green under UV light. It's formed over millions of years when silica-rich fluids slowly fill cavities in volcanic rock, creating those gorgeous layered and flowing patterns unique to each stone.

Please see the dimensions below and be aware crystals often appear to be larger in photos than they actually are. Pieces are priced by weight.

Read the notes carefully, because the carvings have varying levels of UV reactivity. Photos are taken with 395nm light.

A - 166 grams; 3.9" x 3" x 0.6" - Large UV section but faint.
B - 222 grams; 3.96" x 3" x 0.74"- Faint UV reaction, but beautiful quartz "river" through the middle.
C - 213 grams; 3.96" x 3.25" x 0.74" - Small UV section but strong.
D - 227 grams; 3.94" x 3.25" x 0.84" - Strong UV.
